UIC CULTURAL SHOWCASE-Tuesday, October 27th at 6:00pm

CULTURAL AND PERFORMANCE GROUPS:

UIC CULTURAL SHOWCASE IS COMING!
It is time again for the Campus Programs' Cultural Showcase!   To be held on
Tuesday, October 27th at 6:00pm, this annual competitive showcase celebrates the
rich cultural diversity of UIC's student organizations through song, dance, spoken
word , and other forms of performance art.  Organizations are asked to exhibit a
cultural performance of their choosing.  Then three judges, comprised of UIC staff,
will score each performance based on a variety of criteria.  The three highest
scoring organizations will win a CASH PRIZE!

Show UIC your organization's talent by competing in the UIC Cultural Showcase!
Cash Prizes will be awarded to the top three groups:
1st Place - $300
2nd Place - $200
3rd Place - $100

Entry forms will be available starting Wednesday, September 21st.  In the meantime,
please coordinate with your organization to see if you have enough performers and
time to rehearse for the October event.  Entries must also include a CD, DVD, or
other supporting documentation of your organization's intended performance.
