The GSC is supporting three student-led research initiatives this term. We hope you will consider participating in the next few weeks and help us spread the word. Thank you. 1) The Gender & Sexuality Center Survey Audience: UIC students and alumni who visit the GSC on a regular basis. Deadline: April 4, 2011 Contact: Sasha (sbrown49@uic.edu) This survey asks questions about how you use the GSC space, collects demographic information to help us understand more about our core constituents, and asks you to rate how our programs are working for you. Finally, the survey invites you to have a voice in shaping the future of the GSC. This survey is available through April 4th. Just stop by the GSC during our regular hours (M-Th 10-5; F 10-2) and ask for it. You may also contact Sasha directly at sbrown49@uic.edu. ---------- 2) Collecting Bisexual "Coming Out" Stories Audience: UIC students, faculty, staff, and alumni Deadline: April 11, 2011 Contact: Truc Mai (tnguye79@uic.edu) or Kyla (kdonov2@uic.edu) We invite any UIC student, faculty and staff who identifies as bisexual (bi) to share your stories through videotaped interviews, which will be on Mondays in March, from 2-4:00 p.m. With your consent, we will display the interviews to others in training programs, on the GSC website, and their YouTube channel.
