thank you!

Hello Student Leaders!

I hope this message finds you well and that the beginning
of the semester is going smoothly. I am writing because
there is a great and unique opportunity that I wanted to
introduce to the campus leaders.

The Maurice Prize is a competition open to all UIC
undergraduate students. This competition is in its second year.
The winner of this prize will receive $5000.
The prize will go to the student or group of students who
present the best project for this upcoming year. There are
NO limitations on your creativity for this prize. The only
restriction is that the project utilized for the Maurice
Prize cannot be for class credit.

Attached you will find the very simple form all participants
must complete. The letter of intent must be completed by
March 1, 2011 and the finalists' presentations will occur
by April 15, 2011.

All forms must be returned to me, Malcolm Smith, Assistant
Dean of Students. My campus address is listed below.
You may also direct all questions to me at jmalcolm@uic.edu.

I hope that many of you will enter this contest and encourage
your friends to as well.
