The youth vote mattered in 2008. Many college students became
first-time voters and came out to the polls in recording breaking
numbers. Since then, the youth vote has declined. Learn more about
why the Young Vote matters and what this means for the upcoming
Chicago Mayoral Election in February 2011.

The impact of the youth vote may surprise you!

Everyone is welcome. Refreshments will be served.

The Institute for Policy and Civic Engagement (IPCE) creates
opportunities for scholars, concerned citizens, students, community
leaders, elected officials, and the public to actively participate in social
discourse, research and educational programs on policy issues and
social trends. For more information, please contact
