My name is Diana Soriano, I am bilingual, bicultural, and I am a UIC Alumna. I advise students in the College of Business Administration and the College of Education. When I am not in the office, I immerse myself in the UIC environment and enjoy exploring the city of Chicago by attending concerts, lectures, and cultural events.

OSSP- Upcoming Scholarship Deadlines

Week 10 Scholarship Information Sessions:

Tuesday, March 15, *5-6:30PM, AAAN LEARNING RESOURCE CENTER* -- Push-EXCEL
Scholarship Seminar: How to apply and write for the scholarships offered
through the Rainbow-PUSH Coalition, with a deadline of April 15.

 

Wednesday, March 16, *12-1PM, 114 BURNHAM HALL*-- British Scholarships
Session: Topics include awards to do undergraduate study abroad, graduate
and professional study in the United Kingdom. Awards include the Rhodes
Scholarship, the Marshall Scholarship, the Mitchell Scholarship, the Gates
Cambridge Scholarship and the Fulbright UK Fellowship. Full funding from 1-4
years, depending on the award. *Internal UIC Deadline is April 15.* 

 

Thursday, March 17, *12-1PM, 114 BURNHAM HALL* -- Fulbright Fellowships
Session: For students interested in doing a research project or teaching
English abroad the year after they graduate. Full funding for one year, with
the ability to extend for some.

 

Friday, March 18, 2-3PM, 2550 University Hall - General Scholarship Info
Session: For students just beginning to look into searching and applying for
scholarships
