About Me

My name is Diana Soriano, I am bilingual, bicultural, and I am a UIC Alumna. I advise students in the College of Business Administration and the College of Education. When I am not in the office, I immerse myself in the UIC environment and enjoy exploring the city of Chicago by attending concerts, lectures, and cultural events.

Got a free Sunday morning?
Spend some quality time with the Seniors at the LaSalle Center!***

*What:* Volunteers will help prepare and serve a meal to the seniors at the
LaSalle Senior Center.
*When:* Sunday, February 20th, from 7am-9am.*
Where:* We will be meeting at the LaSalle Center:
                  1111 N. Wells Street, Suite 500
                  Chicago, IL 60610

*The LaSalle Senior Center’s mission is to respond to the many spiritual,
physical, emotional and relational needs of older adults experiencing a
decrease in self-sufficiency. The Center helps to empower the seniors to use
their skills and experiences to remain active and connected to the
community.*

Will you be ON CAMPUS Monday, February 21st?
Got some free time? Help assemble health promotion kits! *

*What:* Volunteers will help to assemble health promotion kits to be
distributed by COIP outreach workers.
*When:* Monday, February 21st (sign up for one or more 2 hour time slots:
10am-12pm, 1pm-3pm, and 3pm-5pm.)
*Where:* UIC College of Public Health-1603 W. Taylor St. (we will be meeting
in the College of Public Health LOBBY).

*The mission of the Community Outreach Intervention Projects (COIP) is to
provide people with information and resources to prevent and help treat
infectious diseases, especially HIV/AIDS, other sexually transmitted
diseases, and hepatitis, and to gain knowledge necessary to develop and
evaluate programs to prevent the spread of these diseases.*
