My name is Diana Soriano, I am bilingual, bicultural, and I am a UIC Alumna. I advise students in the College of Business Administration and the College of Education. When I am not in the office, I immerse myself in the UIC environment and enjoy exploring the city of Chicago by attending concerts, lectures, and cultural events.

Update- Black History Month Events

Student Organization Leaders,

The cold temperatures are not going to stop the Black History Month Celebration!

Join us for the following events that will take place this week:

Tuesday 2/8/11- Love Is: He Said, She Said
Renowned relationship experts Yanni Brown and Timothy Miller initiate an interactive
co-ed discussion to explore the dynamics of positive relationships.
FREE movie passes to the first 100 attendees.

Thursday 2/10/11- Poetry Slam with Poet Marc "Bamuthi" Joseph
Join the legendary poets of Mojo's Pen in welcoming HBO's Def Poet, Marc "Bamuthi"
Joseph for an evening of linguistic masterpieces.
Student Center East, Room 605 - 7pm

Friday 2/11/11- Heritage Ball
The Black Student Union celebrates the extraordinary accomplishments of UIC students
on campus, featuring the musical brilliance of Que Billah. Tickets: $10 buffet
included.
Tickets are on sale now at Student Center East and West Box Offices 8:30am-4:30pm
