GLOBAL MIGRATION BRIEFING: MIGRANTS' RIGHTS IN THE ERA OF GLOBALIZATION

On November 2010, a delegation of migrants, academics and students from the
Chicago land area joined hundreds of delegates of migrant organizations,
unions, faith and academic communities from around the world to learn and
discuss issues affecting migrants worldwide.

These discussions took place at the following events: People's Global
Action (PGA) & The Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD). (To
find out more about these events go to: http://www.accionglobalmexico.organd
www.gfmd2010mexico.org).

Join us to listen to their personal experiences and to take part in a lively
discussion on the following topics:

*Relevance between local and international migration
*Links between migration and development
*Migrants' human rights violations worldwide

Additionally, the new documentary "The Invisibles" directed by Gaél Garcia
Bernal and Marc Silver will be presented. The documentary shows the
